The purpose of the company Cygnus Advocaten BV consists of providing legal services as well as legal advice and practicing the profession of lawyer. Our lawyers are registered at the West Flanders Bar Association and subject to the regulations of the Order of Flemish Bars and of the former National Bar Association, as compiled in the Code of Deontology for Lawyers, as well as to the regulations of the West Flanders Bar Association, compiled in the Code of Deontology for the West Flanders Bar Association. These deontological rules can be consulted here or at the secretariat of the West Flanders Bar Association at Langestraat 120, 8000 Brugge.
Without prejudice to the liability limitations provided for in our general terms and conditions, our professional liability is insured in first instance with MS Amlin Insurance SE, Koning Albert II-laan 37, 1030 Brussels (lead insurer, policy LXX034899) up to an amount of EUR 2,500,000.00 per claim, and in second instance with AG Insurance NV, Emile Jacqmainlaan 53, 1000 Brussels (lead insurer, policy 99.551.935) up to an additional amount of EUR 5,000,000.00 per lawyer and per insurance year.
