Neil Braeckevelt
Neil Braeckevelt studied law at Ghent University and attended additional training (D.E.S.) in European law at the Université libre de Bruxelles in 2002-2003. In 2002, he also studied at the University of Manchester under the Erasmus programme. He became a lawyer at the Brussels Bar in 2003 (law firms Allen & Overy and Eubelius) and joined Cygnus Advocaten in December 2013.
Neil primarily advises and acts in cases in which governments and corporations come together. Public (economic) law consequently holds no secrets for him. He has developed specific expertise in public procurement law (award and implementation), environmental law and (public) contracting law.
Neil regularly speaks at seminars. He also provides training and has authored several publications on his preferred topics.
